The Moral aspect of Human Nature

The Moral aspect of human nature is quite intriguing because it goes through many phases of development or changes over the course of ones life, which are in direct relation to realizations made by one. But a very basic issue remains with it. which is that one needs to make a choice about the basis on which these moral values will stand on to direct ones life - Principles. you just cannot pick and chose from the application driven results of these basis known by observations how ever you please but rather make the choice of choosing something in its essence and this decision can only be an informed one not a impulsive one.

In my understanding i like to call this action of choosing "To believe" in that something. Now that something can be a religion, desires, whims or governments ( Systems) and etc but we do actually chose to believe in those things thus the consequences, you just cannot have a state of unbelief (In True Essence). Even for the argument if you were to say that I don't believe in something ergo you insinuate that you believe in something else to be true. So NO state of unbelief! Even the nihilists believe that there is no meaning to life - a rejection philosophy which is based on a belief system itself. Ironic, that the idea of not believing actually stands upon believing!

These Moral values need to have affect on the personal level because that's the very purpose of those morals - to reform human nature and behavior but sadly nowadays it has more of an outward impression rather then inward. We strive to make others follow it rather then following it ourselves!

The reasons that i have so far found for this particular behavior are three.One being the need to not ever have anyone go against ourselves so that we can be friendly with all and the second is just that it's pretty hard to reform yourself and easy to make others to have a sense of accomplishment and the third one is the blind emotional driven connection to ones self righteous beliefs which of course they wont let you critically analyze neither will they do it themselves thus resulting in extremism. The Muslim need to establish  Islamic system is one of the prime examples for such behavior without even knowing what that system is or will be everyone seems to be obsessed with it , even going as far as to say that this is the only way of salvation for Muslim in this and the next world! Another example for such behavior is the obsession with physical appearances of people especially OTHER people, be it beard and haircuts for Men or Clothing Styles for women. That is all that clouds their judgment.

TO make such beliefs which are emotionally motivated ones be seen as rationally calculated ones the very intellect of a persons goes to work resulting in corruption of not only moral aspect of human nature but also the human intellect/reasoning. This Ayah Explains this condition beautifully:

"So, Have you seen him who has taken his desires as his God?, So Allah has let him to go astray, despite having knowledge, and has sealed his ear and his heart, and put a cover on his sight? Now who will guide him after Allah? Still, you do not Learn!" ~ (45:23)
